SC Apcorep Adhplast

SC Apcorep Adhplast is a high-performance acrylic-based bonding agent developed for providing strong adhesion between plaster and old or new concrete surfaces, brick masonry, and mortar blocks. Manufactured by Asian Paints , the product creates a durable monolithic bond with plaster and delivers superior adhesion compared to traditional cement slurry bonding methods. It offers excellent bond strength, improved cohesion and workability, reduced material wastage due to minimal rebound loss, and high resistance to water, alkalies, chlorides, sulphates, and other aggressive substances. The product also has no adverse effect on reinforcement steel within concrete and can be effectively used as a bond coat in guniting applications. For application, the substrate must be properly cleaned using methods such as grinding, wire brushing, chipping, or sandblasting, followed by moistening the surface with water.

SC Apcorep Adhplast should then be sprayed over the moist surface, and plaster should be applied once the coating becomes tacky, with the tacky period varying depending on atmospheric conditions and substrate quality. SC Apcorep Conprotek CPCI

SC Apcorep Conprotek CPCI is a high-performance concrete penetrating corrosion inhibitor developed to protect and rehabilitate reinforced concrete structures exposed to corrosive environments. Manufactured by Asian Paints, the product works on an advanced Bipolar Inhibition Mechanism (B.I.M.) that simultaneously inhibits corrosion at both cathodic and anodic sites of embedded steel reinforcement. Due to its high vapour pressure and strong affinity for metal surfaces, the inhibitor penetrates deep into dense concrete structures and reaches corroding steel, where it forms a protective molecular layer that prevents further reaction between steel, chlorides, oxygen, and moisture, effectively arresting the corrosion process. The product is highly suitable for protection and repair of RCC structures, marine and coastal constructions, bridges, jetties, docks, sewerage systems, railway sleepers, chlorination plants, swimming pools, cooling towers, chimneys, power plants, and pipelines exposed to saline or aggressive environments.

SC Apcorep Conprotek CPCI offers several advantages including deep penetration into concrete, simultaneous cathodic and anodic corrosion protection, enhanced durability of repair works, effective protection of unexposed reinforcement surfaces, eco-friendly and non-toxic formulation, calcium nitrite-free composition, and superior performance even in chloride-contaminated concrete. For application, all loose and spalled concrete should be removed and rusted steel cleaned mechanically, followed by application of rust treatment products such as Apcorep Rustrem and Rustcoat RB on exposed rebars. The inhibitor is then applied by spraying or brushing over the concrete surface at a recommended dosage of approximately 4 m² per litre per coat, with repeated applications required for dense or highly contaminated concrete. After 24 hours, excess traces should be removed before carrying out further repair treatments such as crack sealing, grouting, bonding agent application, or sectional rebuilding. Technically, the product is a water-based bipolar organic corrosion inhibitor available as a clear brown liquid with a minimum pH of 9.5 and water-cleanable characteristics. It is available in 1-litre and 20-litre packs and has a shelf life of 12 months when stored in original unopened containers under cool, dry, and well-ventilated conditions away from direct sunlight and ignition sources. Appropriate safety precautions including gloves, goggles, and masks should be used during handling and application, and any excess material should be disposed of according to local regulations.
